When Walt Perkins is murdered on what was be the day of his wedding to a bride he met through letters to someone who advertised in a  lonely hearts catalog.  When Dan finds out there have been a few other murdered men who answered such advertisements, all of whom had a substantial amount of cash to show the bride.  Using a post office box in Cheyenne, Dan starts a similar correspondence.  When he and Johnny apprehend the would be bride, who is wearing a heavy black veil out of respect for her recently deceased father, they find it is a man.
