When James Chase is gunned down by Kurt Swan, Edgar Chase comes to town and tells Swan he intends to see him die for gunning down his brother.  Although most of the on-lookers assume he means that he intends to kill Swan himself, it turns out that Chase is playing a psychological game that results in Swan killing the man who hired him to kill James Chase.  It looks like he will hang for murder.
